I can't believe I finished this tonight. As usual I was working on it and couldn't stop.. uuughh I'm tired, but I'm trying to type.

As many of you may known this is an older original character of mine, Terith the mysterious elf who speaks in a strange, errily Scottish accent

Terith is a strange guy. He uses Clerical magic and knows how to make herbal medicine, he's not below (and even enjoys) theiving, he obviously travels alot but at first glance he seems nothing but a carefree goof. However as the comic goes on the other characters and the audience both find he knows far too much about far too many things and knows far too many spells from many many magic circles to be your average joe. Also despite being an elf, he looks like no other elf in existance, what with his extra long droopy ears, his very pale skin and silvery hair, both of which seem to resemble and reflect moonlight.

Terith also seems to have friends no matter where in the world the characters travel, everywhere they go he knows at least one person. The most of amusing of these, to me anyway, is that the generally elusive faeries flock to him and all seem to have huge crushes on him they're always asking him to tell them stories and what not.

So here in this picture Terith, traveling on his own I guess, has gone to sleep in the forest and is being woken up by some faeries who want to play. This was just something I randomly started sketching and I liked it so much I had to finish it. I normally draw faeries less glowy and wearing clothes made from leaves and flower petals and stuff, but I didn't want the faeries to distract too much from Terith in this picture, so I made them more cliche glowy blue things. Some may notice the coloring of the background resembles another image from this story, and that was on purpose. Maybe I'd go with this style illustration for this series. I kept this one a bit more simple though, and the shading and whatnot has alot more depth. I like how it came out alot. I'm starting to use gradients more, which I know is trendy, but I make them pretty subtle.
