Edit: Just some color adjustments at the behest of a midgit.

Trying something new. Well new for me anyway, somehow I've gotten vector/grunge looks in my BLOOD this week as that's totally not the direction I was originally going to go here. I was also trying to work with a limited palette but... I may have broken out of that a bit with the BG.

I spent so long on this, I'm so slow, but this is all digital ink for once. I still "ink" over pencil sketches though so I haven't given up my purist nature completely yet! That's not to say I'll stop doing traditional work entirely either, but I've thought of digital work as just adding color and nothing more for too long now so I want to experiment for a time (also it's cleaner and faster... or it would be faster if I learned to ink already )

Anyway you may wonder about the title (other than it's a Dr. Seuss reference.) See I had a thought since I've converted the character all over to ancient Judaism and all, "Satan" is really a title, not a name. So I've decided Satan's real name is Sammael, just hardly anyone ever calls him that.

It also gives me a proper nickname for him now and an excuse to call him Sam. Yes this is my brilliant creative process at work (feel free to call him by either name.)

Also all the archangel prince's names end in "el" so... yeah he's one of those now have I mentioned that? I'm sorry I keep changing him I swear I'm done now! Maybe it would make more sense when I finally get off my ass and finish plotting out the... er... plot, but lately I've just been having one of those angsty artistic mood swings and focusing more on style style style and ... uh... drawing better in general.

If you look closely you may see glimpses of the Albatross logo I have yet to reveal cause I'm a bastard.
