I know, I keep doing this. I don't do any finished art for a while and when I do it's something incredibly retarded.
And this is also NiGHTS fanart. Again. I apologize in advance for I'm probably going to be even worse when the new game comes out in November. Speaking of the new game, what spawned this insanity was a group called Game Legend was given a demo of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams and managed to sneak out a 9 second clip of dialog from a cutscene, including NiGHTS' voice. It's the English sounding one. Yeah. It's voiced by a woman. And yeah, NiGHTS is an it, as in genderless. But see, NiGHTS was voiced by a woman in the original game, but it didn't really speak, it didn't even say more than two words plus a generic "I bumped into something ow" sound. Some fans are dismayed by this. I'm pretty indifferent to it right now, and as long as the acting is competent I won't mind, and I know I'm buying this game no matter what because I'm a lost cause. But my friend *anystar just HAD to go point out that NiGHTS kind of sounds like Mary Poppins. I put waaaaaaaay more effort into this than I should have, but that's okay cause it was fun to color. That handbag would make even Tinky Winky jealous. Also for disliking him so much I sure have drawn William twice. I also have no idea why I dislike Will, maybe it's the same inexplicable thing that makes me hate Elliot for no good reason. Speaking of Will, he's not actually German, but I like many people watching this game are laughing at the fact that BOTH of the child characters are pale as hell, blonde haired and blue eyed. ARYAN CONSPIRACY. I get wanting to make them look alike when you have a male and a female character to choose from (like in Legend of Mana, which no one played but me) it would have been nice to have some variety. And what about freaky animu colors like Claris and Elliot from the first game, they had pink and blue hair c'mon! .... Also I think I drew his stupid vest wrong. Ah well. Anyway. Hope this made people laugh. And yes, NiGHTS is supposed to look kind of demented here. It has always been a popular fan notion that it's just a psycho.
