So a couple days ago I decided, what the hell, I need to make a Halloween image. And I figured, hmmm.. perhaps I should draw an old friend I haven't fanarted in years. And so here he is Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas. Like most innocent children who were destined to become rabid anime fans, I am a big fan of that movie. I'm a big fan of animation in general, but Nightmare was truely a gem, and charming in its own off-kilter whimsical way. I was obsessed with it as a kid, well, my parents were obsessed with it back then too It was a main article in their repitoire back when they was in the Collectibles business. We still have alot of original Nightmare merch. from back in 1993 around, as well as some rare and one-of-a-kind stuff.
Anyway, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

What beautiful higlighs and shadows you have. I've got to learn to have that nice, light touch with markers. I love the pose, he's so expressive, for not really having eyes. I got all excited, glanced at the title and thought of Bowie's Halloween Jack. Darn you for getting me excited!

That's REALLY awesome Sai... I love it... If I was in the mood for it, I would give a much more elaborate comment but... Y'know... Kinda difficult right now n_n;;; *chuckles lightly*
There's one other problem with your theory, the Nightmare puppets weren't made out of clay, they were made out of metal armatures and latex *true fangirl*
