The prize EXCLUSIVE pic for the TSFH Calender Now RELEASED! WOOO! I can finally talk about this one

You know, being such an odd little heathen as I am, I've become very sympathetic to the other side of Satan's character. I think I explained at the end of TSFH that I intended him to be seen in one of two ways depending on who the reader is. One way is of a naive child who is suffering blind faith. The other is a strong individual who's faith cannot be shaken. Of course I may have been biased toward the first one, but I've worked hard to keep this duality of his character and the story itself (even though I .. may poke fun at him now and then ).

For those who don't know in the comic TSFH (original "pilot" can be seen here XD Drew it over a year ago, be nice. I've since written a much bigger story around it) Satan is an Angel of God, made the Angel of Retribution in charge of punishing the damned but mostly keeping watch over the Fallen Angels in Hell. Especially their traitorous leader Lucifer, who has the annoying capability to ascend to Earth, being a Seraphim and all.

Satan's character is such that he has such strong faith in God he doesn't mind living in Hell and having to do the really crappy job he has to do. Suffering for your faith ect. But it gives you the impression God may sort have forgotten about him. Or has He?

This image reflects on a scene thats planned to happen in the comic, but its not the scene itself. Thats too big of a spoiler . And I'm EXTREMELY proud of how it came out. I did reference a book of black and white photos made for figure drawing for his pose, but its not exactly the same, and I knew what pose I wanted him to be in from the start, but it helped to get his torso and legs right.

Also isn't the SHININESS of that red cross on his shirt just DELICIOUS? I don't even remember how I DID that. But you know I like that design, so don't be surprised if that shirt or something similiar to it becomes part of his main outfit. I've been planning to update his boots too (more like.. well.. how they look in this pic. Yes yes its an homage to Nny, no need to point that out ) don't worry though he'll probably keep those godawful red vynil pants he originally had.
