Artist's Comments
This comic is totally untrue. Except of course for the presence of alcohol. ...And the fact I never use the wrist strap on the Wiimote. Oh yeah. I game dangerously.
Anyway, this here is a commemoration of my triumphant completion of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (which I did indeed get a little tipsy whilst completing as there is a bar in our basement. I'm 23, don't imitate me until you're over 21, kids.) I wasn't going to do a comic about it at all, actually, but then I got the idea for this joke and thought why the hell not. I need to be able to do comic pages faster. And yet this still took me most of the day  The last panel being copypasta aside, I think this turned out pretty good. This is me drawing without thinking, without worrying if I'm going to be able to draw something or not. I really need to keep on doing that. Thistle is in here for two reasons: I'm on a kick of drawing her, and Lucifer was far too often becoming my sidekick in minicomics like these. Oh also she's a convenience device for delivering the punchline at my expense. I altered my face in that last panel by drawing with the TABLET! I consider that some kind of accomplishment. Lineart (other than that face): India Ink on Bristol Board Tones: DELETER Comicworks. P.S. Yes that "BEE DOO DOO!" is my lame attempt at writing out the sound Zelda games make as their way of telling you "yaaaay, you did something you were supposed to do! Good for you". And no, I'm still not entirely used to the controller making sounds. |

On a technical note, are those tones digital or the traditional kind? I've been trying to find some really good tones to go along with Manga Studio EX but have been out of luck lately.
