You all have *anystar to blame for this bit of ridiculously cute insanity. You see, every now and then she'll say to me "Draw a comic about MIDGITS!". This thing had originally be an idea for a one page, illustrative comic, but we got babbling about what I'd do for Christmas and it was expanded into a 3 day holiday comic.

But what IS a midgit, might you ask? Well according to *anystar:

Midgits are small, cute, spastic creatures which think and move in circles. They usually live in clans of three, which is the magick number, consume mass amounts of candy, and follow the teachings of the splediferous and omnipotent cat-god known as Bob.

Midgits can be both entertaining and annoying. They are handy and wise, but also innocent and childish. It is this dual nature that defines the nature of midgits, which is that of a pet-like creature which brings boons upon society, many of which go unnoticed. Midgits are hiveminded, and often do not speak at all :3 But once you get them talking, they usually jabber incessantly.

So yes *anystar Has built up all this FOLKLORE around the little ones known as midgits. Its not only short stature that makes one a midgit, but nature.

That being said the midgits in this comic are modeled after four people:

- Handy Clause (usually Handy Midgit)
- Cutie Clause
- Cookie Clause (usually the Rage Midgit, which is why she has angry eyebrows)
- FAB Clause (usually the Nidgit)

Take a wild guess who the DEMON QUEEN is modeled after

You will also find some midgit terminology in this comic. Like Xmoos.

SO! This is a totally atypical holiday comic, in a totally atypical style (for me anyway). It's a bit messy, but I'm glad I did it, because it was a fun experiment and I totally broke form in how I usually do comics.

Page one! We meet the midgits and the LAND OF MAO. Yes, no snow. I was going with the fairy tale feel for this comic, so.. IT IS ALWAYS SPRING IN MAO. Who knows, don't question the logic of this comic plz, it's full of midgits
