Okay so the new game was pretty mediocre but I'm still a NiGHTS fan, leave me alone! Once again I apologize profusely for doing fanart of obscure crap only I care about.
Also this isn't so much a summary of the game as it is the game filtered through my retard brain. I also took a rather weird approach with it for the comic form, what is it about fanart that makes me experiment? I like how this all came out though. Colored words balloons also seem to have become a THING for me in regards to NiGHTS fanart.
And now for the mercy of people who haven't played this, or any other NiGHTS game for that matter, I give you BULLET LIST EXPLANATIONS!:
Panels 1 & 2: Suffice it to say in the first NiGHTS game (the one that came out goddamn 11 years ago) paralooping Nightopians wasn't a good idea and mainly resulted in horrible screaming. Now it's apparently good for them.
Panels 3 - 5: There's a scene in which Reala, a bad guy, makes a threatening gesture at Will's (that kid there) throat to keep NiGHTS at bay. But Will is having a dream so really he can't be hurt, so this leads me to believe that Nightmaren (what NiGHTS and Reala are) are stupid. Also how could the kids have not noticed that NiGHTS and Reala are basically friggin' twins, nevermind the same kind of creature?
Panel 6: Doesn't really have much to do with the game, it's just my tired old "Wizeman is totally gangsta" joke from when I remixed the hilariously bad Archie comics based on this series. I also forgot to draw his new neck.. halo... thing which would have only lent credence to my claim that Wizeman was totally blinged out in this game.
Panel 7: How can a creature that is capable of free flight get captured by bird things? Honestly. But fans always suspected NiGHTS was a bit of a retard.
Panel 8: He also ends up in a cage 6 times in this game.
Panels 9 - 13: Okay so this exact series of events didn't actually happen, but the juxtaposition of certain levels made it seem like it did. Octopaw is a little ring-spawning flying octopus thing that it seems NiGHTS will drop everything, no matter how pressing the tasks at hand are, to run off and terrorize.
