This is what happens to my brain when I read too much of a particular manga or watch too much of a particular anime.

(and yes Lucifer's french curl has the ability to puff up like a squirrel's tail that was NOT me fucking up while experimenting filling in black with a brush)

I recently rediscovered my love for Gravitation apon purchasing books 3 -6. For those who don't know Gravitation is a shonen ai ("boy's love") manga. The drawing style isn't the best in the world, but its a hysterical romance comedy with some drama on the side thats stuffed full of great characters.

So this comic came out of TWO jokes really. First my joke that when I let my hair get too long and messy and tie it back I look like the star of Gravitation, Shuichi. I made such a joke in a stupid old comic of mine.

The other was I wanted to do a joke about me comparing Satan and Lucifer to Shuichi and Yuki (Shuichi's nihilistic sometimes hilariously cruel boyfriend) on very vauge and superficial pretenses. The two jokes kind of converged and somewhere along the way I decided to try and emulate the manga style of Gravitation.

It was hard for me to emulate Maki Murakami's sketchy, thin-lined style. Not just the drawing style itself but the inking style, which is SO unlike my own. My style is still obviously in it of course XD but not a bad try if I don't say so myself.
